ProbateStudio Wisconsin is a document-automation service. It may contain errors, missing features, incorrect assumptions, or incomplete county-specific information. Do not sign, serve, publish, file, or rely on generated documents until you have carefully reviewed the information, signatures, county requirements, and filing steps for the specific matter.

What the service does
ProbateStudio helps you organize probate information and assemble draft Wisconsin probate forms, checklists, filing handoffs, and related software-generated summaries based on the answers you enter.
The service does not file documents with a court, serve or mail documents, publish notices, contact interested persons, pay claims, open bank accounts, obtain tax IDs, distribute property, or make legal decisions for you.

ProbateStudio Technologies, LLC is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal representation, case-specific legal review, court filing services, or official court services. Use of the service does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and ProbateStudio.
ProbateStudio is a tool used by the person preparing a matter. It does not replace professional judgment, and it does not assume any part of a lawyer's duties to a client.
User responsibilities
- Use the service only if you are authorized to do so, and keep your sign-in credentials secure.
- Enter accurate and complete information.
- Review all generated documents before signing, serving, publishing, filing, or relying on them.
- Confirm current county, court, Register in Probate, and eFiling requirements.
- Collect required wet signatures and maintain original signed documents where needed.
- Handle deadlines, notices, publication, service, claims, inventory, accounting, taxes, distributions, and closing requirements.
- Comply with your own professional and ethical obligations, including obligations to your clients.
Standard court forms
Wisconsin PR forms are standard court forms. ProbateStudio is designed to fill blanks and check boxes without changing official court form language, captions, form numbers, revision dates, statutory references, signature blocks, or official instructions. Software summaries, checklists, and filing instructions are separate from the court forms.
Accounts, firms, and storage
Using ProbateStudio requires an account. Accounts belong to a firm, and probate matters belong to the firm rather than to an individual user. People in the same firm can see the firm's matters.
Matters are stored in ProbateStudio's cloud systems, as described in the Privacy Policy. The application also uses browser storage while you work. You remain responsible for protecting documents you download and for deciding what information is appropriate to enter.
Subscriptions and access
Professional use of ProbateStudio requires an active subscription for your firm. Creating an account and a firm does not by itself grant the ability to create or edit probate matters — those become available once the firm's subscription is active. There is no free trial or evaluation tier.
Subscriptions are offered on recurring monthly and annual terms, per firm. Current subscription plans and pricing are displayed before you complete checkout. The price and billing interval that apply to your purchase are the ones shown to you there. Pricing may change for future billing periods; a change does not alter a period you have already paid for.
Billing and renewal
Subscriptions are recurring and are billed by Stripe. A monthly subscription renews each month and an annual subscription renews each year, using the payment method on file, until it is cancelled.
If a payment fails, ProbateStudio may limit or suspend the ability to create and edit matters. ProbateStudio provides a short grace period after a failed payment while the card issuer and Stripe retry the charge, so that a temporary card problem does not interrupt work immediately. If the subscription is not brought current, access to create and edit matters ends.
Cancellation
You may cancel at any time from the billing portal in your Account page. Cancelling stops future renewals. Your subscription remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep professional access until then. ProbateStudio does not provide partial-period credits for time remaining when you cancel.
Cancelling a subscription does not delete your account, your firm, or your matters. See "Your data after a subscription ends" below.
Refunds
Subscription payments are generally non-refundable, including for unused or partial billing periods, except where a refund is required by applicable law. If a genuine billing error has occurred — for example a duplicate charge or a charge after a cancellation took effect — email support@probatestudio.com and ProbateStudio will review it in good faith. Any refund ProbateStudio agrees to is issued through Stripe.
Your data after a subscription ends
Cancellation does not automatically delete your firm's existing matters. Subject to these Terms and ProbateStudio's data-retention practices, existing matter information may remain available for review or export after a subscription ends. Creating new matters and editing existing ones require an active subscription.
ProbateStudio does not currently promise a fixed timetable for retaining or deleting firm data, and does not promise to retain it indefinitely. If you want your firm's data exported or deleted, email support@probatestudio.com.
Suspension and termination
ProbateStudio may suspend or end access for non-payment, for use that violates these Terms or applicable law, or where necessary to protect the service or its users. ProbateStudio will give notice where it reasonably can. You may stop using the service at any time by cancelling your subscription.
Support
Support is available at support@probatestudio.com for technical issues, product feedback, access problems, billing questions, and document-generation problems. Support does not include legal advice, legal strategy, court representation, or case-specific legal guidance. ProbateStudio does not commit to a specific response time.
Feedback
You may submit feedback about usability, form output, interested-person logic, packet decisions, or other issues. ProbateStudio may use feedback to improve the service, create test scenarios, identify defects, and improve documentation. Do not send Social Security numbers, full account numbers, passwords, medical records, or unnecessary private details in feedback.
Third-party links and services
The service may link to government, court, tax, eFiling, financial, bond, newspaper, or other third-party websites, and relies on third-party providers for hosting, data storage, payments, and email. Links are provided for convenience. ProbateStudio does not control third-party sites and is not responsible for their content, fees, availability, privacy practices, or decisions.
No acceptance promise
ProbateStudio does not promise that any form, packet, checklist, instruction, software result, or filing format will be accepted by any court, Register in Probate, attorney, financial institution, agency, creditor, newspaper, or other third party.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ProbateStudio Technologies, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, delay, court rejection, missed deadlines, or case outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability is limited to the amount you paid ProbateStudio for the affected service in the twelve months before the claim. Some laws do not allow certain limits, so these limits apply only where permitted.
Changes
These Terms may change as the product develops. The effective date below shows when this version was published. Continued use after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms for later use.
