Not a law firm

ProbateStudio is provided by ProbateStudio Technologies, LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company. ProbateStudio is not a law firm. It does not provide legal advice, legal representation, case-specific legal review, or court filing services. Use of the service does not create an attorney-client relationship.

Not official or affiliated with the court

ProbateStudio is not a court, government agency, Register in Probate office, or eFiling provider. Courts, court staff, Registers in Probate, attorneys, financial institutions, agencies, and other third parties may require corrections, additional documents, signatures, service, publication, hearings, or different procedures.

Information and automation only

The service provides general probate information, guided intake questions, document automation, checklists, and workflow reminders based on user answers. The service does not select a legal course of action for any user, estate, beneficiary, heir, creditor, or personal representative.

County and case differences

Probate requirements may vary by state, county, court, Register in Probate, case facts, interested-person status, public-benefit history, creditor issues, real estate issues, deadlines, and whether a matter is contested.

When to consider contacting an attorney

  • Someone disagrees about the will, heirs, beneficiaries, personal representative, assets, claims, accounting, or distributions.
  • A minor, protected person, missing person, unknown address, deceased child with descendants, trust, charity, creditor issue, or nonresident personal representative is involved.
  • The estate may involve Medicaid, Family Care, public-benefit recovery, taxes, business interests, unusual assets, real estate problems, or creditor pressure.
  • The software shows a formal-probate flag, missing information, or uncertainty.

Standard court forms

Wisconsin PR forms are standard court forms. ProbateStudio is designed to fill blanks and check boxes without changing official form language, captions, layout, form numbers, revision dates, statutory references, signature blocks, or official instructions. Software-generated instructions, summaries, and checklists are separate from the court forms.

No acceptance promise

ProbateStudio does not promise that any generated form, packet, checklist, filing instruction, software result, or filing format will be accepted by any court, Register in Probate, attorney, financial institution, agency, creditor, newspaper, or other third party.

Attorney users

Attorney and law-office users remain responsible for client communication, professional obligations, document review, signature collection, eFiling format, and court requirements. ProbateStudio does not replace attorney judgment or supervision.

Third-party links

Links to court, tax, eFiling, EIN, closing-certificate, bank, bond, publication, or other third-party resources are informational unless a separate written disclosure says otherwise. ProbateStudio is not responsible for third-party sites, services, fees, decisions, or privacy practices.
